Private Health Fund Rebates

If you have private health insurance which includes podiatry cover, you may be able to claim some of the cost of the consultation through them. This can be done conveniently at the practice through our HiCaps system. This is a simple way to claim the benefit via your health fund so you only have to pay the gap. Some special procedures we may use can also be covered by your health fund but may depend upon your level of cover. It is best to check with your health fund prior to your appointment however the costs of any procedures or treatments will be discussed with you prior to them being carried out.

Medicare Rebate

If your appointment relates to general nail and callus care, just bring along any relevant treatment products you have used so we can help determine what would help you best. If your appointment relates to a biomechanical or sporting injury, bring along a pair of shorts to change into, your current sport shoes, any previous investigations you have had (X-ray / ultrasound / MRI reports) and any referral letters from your physiotherapist / G.P. / Specialist
